It was one of those rare occasions that I would be spotted in the city for lunch on a Sunday. Futhermore, it was in a mall. You know lah, some of them are always swarmed with people over weekends. To me, having meals in malls are almost always due to convenience. I’m one of those who gets agitated when there’s a long queue, and don’t deal too well with crowds. Very often before Sunday comes, I would have decided where I wanted to go for brunch on that day. However, Mr Gadget had to bring his car to the workshop, not knowing if any of them will be open. I’ve always had some names on top of my head as I came across them during my last stay. Given a short notice, I did a quick search on these places for the best possible deals that weekend. Most of the familiar names I knew were all booked out. Either that, or they were overpriced. Little did I know then, it was Georgetown World Heritage City Day weekend. There’s a festival held each year in the city in honour of this day. Continue reading “Loke Thye Kee Residences @ Georgetown, Penang”
